Sunayana graduated as a Physiotherapist in 2003 and has been dedicated to helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals ever since. In 2009, she earned a Postgraduate degree in Exercise Science from Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia. The invaluable experience gained while working as an Exercise Physiologist in Australia gives her a unique perspective in blending movement science with rehabilitation.
As a certified Yoga teacher, Sunayana integrates mindful movement, breathwork, and therapeutic yoga techniques into physical therapy sessions, providing a holistic approach to healing. Additionally, she holds certification in TMJ management, offering specialized care for patients with jaw pain, headaches, and related conditions.
To further enhance patient outcomes, Sunayana includes Acupuncture and dry needling as part of personalized treatment plans, having earned certification through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. This comprehensive skill set allows her to offer well-rounded care that addresses pain relief, mobility, strength, and overall well-being.
